60 nominations for the “Arthurs”

The Arthur C. Clarke Foundation is pleased to announce that 60 nominations were received for the 2016 Sir Arthur Clarke Awards by the closing date of 31 August 2016. The British Interplanetary Society, as organiser of the awards, has commenced the judging process whereby up to 60 judges from all areas of the UK Space Sector will select the three finalists in each of the award categories.

The winners will be announced and the Awards presented at the Reinventing Space Dinner at the Royal Society on Thursday 27 October 2016. All finalists or representatives of the larger teams will be invited to the dinner and award ceremony.

Places are available for supporters and non-finalists at £80 each (VAT included).
