The dinner which closes this year’s Reinventing Space conference celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sir Arthur C Clarke.
Sir Arthur was not only a space pioneer and famed author but was one of the pioneers behind the world’s oldest space advocacy body – the British Interplanetary Society, organisers of Reinventing Space.
The dinner will be held in the historic venue that is the Glasgow City Chambers on George Square, Glasgow on the evening of Thursday 26 October 2017.
Note that you do not need to have attended the conference to attend the dinner though all delegates are welcome. It is priced separately and is an event jointly hosted by the British Interplanetary Society and the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation.
We are pleased to confirm that renowned author Steve Baxter will be our dinner speaker. Steve knew Sir Arthur very well and will tell us about their meetings over the years.
