The 16th Reinventing Space Conference will be held between Tuesday 30 October and Thursday 1 November 2018 at No.4 Hamilton Place, London, the headquarters of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

RISpace brings together industry, agency, government, financiers, academia and end users. The conference and exhibition is organised by the British Interplanetary Society.

Sessions are at the heart of the RISpace programme into which papers are organised.
Some sessions are split over the course of the RISpace schedule (due to the number of presented papers) during the conference. A session sponsorship applies to one timetabled split, as applicable.
• Two complementary delegate tickets to the 16th Reinventing Space conference for employees and guests of the sponsor
• Chair role of a relevant RISpace session and sponsorship of that slot.
• A ten minute slot to make a company presentation at the start of the session

PANEL SPONSORSHIP £2,500 + VAT

FINAL PROGRAMME/USB SPONSORSHIP £2,000 + VAT

Each attendee is issued with both a printed Final Programme and a USB stick containing abstracts and presentations.
The USB stick is brandable and can be supplied in any usable form – standard, credit card sized etc.
Sponsors create a separate folder on the USB stick on which to place documents etc.
Please note that the USB sticks must be supplied in a form ready to be bulk copied in the week before RISpace.
• 300 USB sticks with the logo of the sponsor are produced for the event and given to both delegates and careers session attendees
• The USB sponsor to add a directory to USB stick containing promotional material
• Sponsor logo also appears as highlighted logo on printed Final Programme issued to delegates
USBs can be produced by RISpace rather than the sponsor at a sponsorship cost of £2,500 + VAT.
If sponsor-produced, sticks must arrive with the conference organiser no later than 30 Septemmber 2018.

CONFERENCE BAG SPONSORSHIP £3,000 + VAT

• Logo added to each of 300 conference bags given to all delegates
• Logo additionally added to conference pop up banners beside lectern during conference and at registration desk in exhibition
Should the sponsor wish to provide their own bags, the sponsorship price becomes £2,000 + VAT. Such bags must arrive with the conference organisers before 30 September 2018.

LANYARD SPONSORSHIP £2,000 + VAT

• Logo added to each of 300 lanyards given to all delegates
• Logo additionally added to conference pop up banners beside lectern during conference and at registration desk in exhibition
Should the sponsor wish to provide their own lanyards, the sponsorship price becomes £1,000 + VAT. Lanyards must arrive with the conference organisers before 30 September 2018.

LUNCH SPONSORSHIP £1,500 + VAT

There is up to one hour’s lunch break in the middle of every day of RISpace.
Delegates move from the conference into the exhibition and catering area and the lunch sponsor has the opportunity to address delegates for three minutes before lunch is served.
This sponsorship applies to one lunch break out of the three during the conference.
• Podium erected in catering area and sponsor may present for five minutes before food is served to delegates
• Sponsor may place up to three of their own pop ups during a lunch and this is acknowledged in the final programme

There are two coffee breaks every day of RISpace.
Delegates move from the conference into the exhibition and catering area and the lunch sponsor has the opportunity to address delegates for three minutes before lunch is served.
This sponsorship applies to one such break during the conference.

About RISpace 2015

  • The focus of the 2015 conference was on the commercialisation of space and addressed a range of topics including low cost launch opportunities, the rebirth of constellations, beyond LEO activities and novel technologies.
  • A total number of 385 attendees came to the conference and exhibition
  • 11 exhibitors took part
  • Eight keynotes from the top of UK and international industry and agency addressed delegates
  • A record number (89) of abstracts were submitted, the highest in the history of Reinventing Space.
  • Poster sessions were integrated into the catering breaks and were very well attended
  • We established a “pre-conference” day with sessions upon spaceports and debris.
  • Reinventing Space Careers established itself as an annual event
  • RIspace included sessions dedicated to civil, technology and launchers and, for the first time, Beyond LEO
  • The conference featured keynotes from industry, agency and government
  • Inclusive atmosphere encouraged easy exchanges between attendees, keynotes, exhibitors and students

About RISpace 2014

Reinventing Space 2014 took place during November 2014 at the Royal Society in London. It was the largest world space event dedicated to the low-cost sector in 2014:.

  • A total number of 377 attendees came to the conference and exhibition
  • 11 exhibitors took part
  • Eight keynotes from the top of UK and international industry and agency addressed delegates
  • A record number (64) of abstracts were submitted, the highest in the history of Reinventing Space. 30 papers were presented during the main conference.
  • 71% of participants in the post-event survey rated the event as exceeding expectations; 98% rated the venue as good or excellent
  • Over 10% of attendees of the seperate careers event gained jobs in the space industry as a direct result of RIspace 2014.
  • RIspace included sessions dedicated to civil, military, technology and finance
  • The conference featured keynotes from industry, agency and government
